Responsibilities:
Monitor office work flow
Produce, track and monitor client billing
Maintain case files and schedules, by coordinating review of
outstanding/received client bills and appointments
Communicate with clients regarding bills and appointments
Handle general operating orders/requests and payments (including office
supplies and services)
Greet clients
Open and distribute mail
Type legal proceedings and documents from recorded transcripts
File client bills and case materials
Answer phones
Copy documents
Schedule appointments
File legal documents with appropriate courts/offices
Required Skills:
Quickbooks
PCLaw
Experience in MS Word, Excel, internet based email
Comfortable learning new computer software systems and processes
Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on effective listening and
conflict resolution abilities
Results oriented, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills for self and the surrounding work
environment
Strong work initiative-ability to work in varied roles, depending on the
circumstance
Dedicated and committed to quality of work product and service
Strong customers service skills, with an emphasis on ability to balance
